I Finally Finished...
My mother-in-law gave me this book "why should i be the first to change?," although it should be "why i should be the first to change," when Ian and i lived in Colorado, so almost 3 yrs ago, and i never quite finished it. I read about half way through and stopped reading it, like i do most books. But i finally read through it all the way. It was a great book and i would recommend all married women read it, whether your going through hard times are not. She shows you that when your not living as Christ loved, self sacrificial, your marriage can become all about pride, or all about you. How much of our fights or nagging is in thought of wanting our husbands to become the men we desire? But are we as women, through the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ (since we obviously cant do it on our own), becoming the wives our husbands desire? I speak to myself as i say this b/c i struggle with this constantly but the first part in making changes is first recognizing them and this is what Nancy Missler has done in "Why should i be the first to change?"

Five on Friday
1. We watched Moses yesterday for my dad and we took him to the vet to get his shots and get a cut on his foot checked out. He was so good for us, mainly b/c he was given sedatives by the vet and slept the whole time!
2. Ian came home the other night from "Preach the Word" and when he got home he went in Aubs room to see her. She said she was hungry so we gave her some oatmeal, as Ian took her back to bed she through up all over him and the carpet and mind-you this all happened at 10 at night.
3. I mowed the back yard all by myself! Ian was gone all day and i had nothing to do and it was like a foot long in some places.
4. 5 weeks till Christmas and i haven't gotten anything done yet...yikes!
5. Today we watched our niece, and i was changing Aubrey out of her diaper and she walked in the room and said "Aubrey's nini looks funny! She has a hole!" i jut laughed and looked at her and said "so do you, but your mommy can explain!"

BYE BYE MOSES
Ian and i decided to give Moses (our dog) to my dad. It's not that he was a bad dog we just weren't ready to have a dog and new that it would be best for everyone, including Moses. My dad already has a dog, Shianne, so I'm sure that they will love having each other to play with. Although, i know this is whats best i cant help but cry. I didn't like him from the beginning but he''s been in our lives for the past three months and there begins to be this routine of life, but anyways... I feel most for Aubrey, although i don't think she'll understand or even remember in a month, sorry give me a moment....:( i still feel bad for taking her playmate from her, she loved to have him chase her, sitting on top of him and giving him treats....but he is only 30 min. away and i know we'll see him soon.

WASHINGTON – A Republican congressman from Georgia said yesterday he fears that President-elect Barack Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.
“It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force,” Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview yesterday with The Associated Press. “I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may – may not, I hope not – but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism.”
Broun cited a July speech by Obama that has circulated on the Internet in which the then-Democratic presidential candidate called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.
“That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did,” Broun said. “When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist.”
Obama's comments about a national security force came during a speech in Colorado in which he called for expanding the nation's foreign service.
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set,” Obama said in July. “We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
The Obama transition team declined to comment on Broun's remarks. But spokesman Tommy Vietor said Obama was referring in the speech to a proposal for a civilian reserve corps that could handle postwar reconstruction efforts such as rebuilding infrastructure – an idea endorsed by the Bush administration.
Broun also said he believes Obama would move to ban gun ownership if he does build a national security force.
“We can't be lulled into complacency,” Broun said. “You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany. I'm not comparing him to Adolf Hitler. What I'm saying is there is the potential of going down that road.”

Our 44th President
I thought that this was just right on...please enjoy...
"Congratulations, Dems. You got your guy, Barack Obama, into the White House.
And just as his friend Ludacris says, he’ll be “paintin’ the White House black”… With his separatist, racist friends; Wright, Sharpton, Meeks, Jackson, and so on.
The young, the welfare receivers, and the socialists actually pulled it off.
All I’m hoping is that this is the darkness before the dawn. In fact, I’m not just hoping, I’m praying.
I’m praying that there will be a new conservative movement after the American masses finally realize that liberalism is never good for our country.
I’m hoping that it will spur people to begin doing their own research and not just leaving their decision-making to the candidate that the media covers in the most positive light.
Obama’s taxes are going to kill business.
Shaniqua and the crack whores will be getting big screen TVs with their tax welfare check.
The deadbeats and stupid people involved in the so-called “housing crisis” will continue to get more breaks from our government… As us responsible people watch interest rates and property taxes soar.
The economy will continue to go downhill… Except now, it will go to hell in a hand basket at that high-speed rate we’ve all been fearing.
I mean, how does it make sense to make it more difficult and more expensive for businesses in the midst of a declining economy?
Obama and Biden keep talking about creating jobs, but how is this going to happen when these businesses are forced to lay people off?
And what about the war on terror? How soon does Barack Obama plan to raise the white flag of surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan?
When can we bank on raising our collective hands in surrender so that al-Qaeda can plan their next major strike?
I will hang my head in shame if this President-elect has the gall to squander the hard work and, MOST importantly, lives lost in this hard-fought battle against evil people who would like to see America wiped off the face of the planet.
We will see our President go overseas to coddle and cater to Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, and other rogue nations.
We will see our President ruin the fabric of our nation, and when he does, the libs will STILL be blaming Bush.
But hey, don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that America has shown itself capable of electing a black President. I just despise this guy’s politics. His policies are a danger to America. Hopefully the GOP finally got the message: DON’T screw around with your base."

Five on Friday
I'm not that interesting to do ten on Tuesday so we'll stick with 5 on Friday...
1.I'm so glad the elections are over and we can now move on...I'm blessed to see that prop.8 was approved but disappointed prop. 4 was defeated
2.My daughter is driving me crazy but she is 2...she is throwing fits about any and everything and doesn't understand the phrase " HOLD ON" or even "NO"
3.Abi (our niece) is coming over today to play with Aubrey, and its great b/c they are occupied playing and i can get to cleaning or laundry and i get a nice break from occupying Aubrey myself. THANK YOU Peris for bringing Abi over...
4.My house is so cold and has been for the past week. Our heater needs a new filter and some other stuff done before we can use it so for now lots of layers and blankets
5.I hate cleaning the bathroom but it has to get done, its just so gross to clean the toilet...i try to avoid it but i just have to get it done.

A Sad Day in Americas History...
Higher taxes... Increased welfare... Socialized medicine... Weaker military... Socialism...Partial Birth Abortion... and this is what America has voted for? Are you kidding me? But i guess this is what happens when America depends on the left wing media for there voting guide, who cares more about the cost of Sarah Palins wardrobe then the critical issues of todays society...Its funny...i learned more about what they spent on her clothes then i did about Obamas billion dollar spending plans when he gets into office. This is a sad day for Americans, "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." And that has all gone out the window...Baby's in their mothers womb have no right to life if there mother chooses to kill them, government making mandatory involvement rather then the choice of the people, and taxing the snot out of business's to spread the wealth around, from people who have pursued there dreams for a better life, i thought that was the free will of the people not the mandating of government ...
And for the believers that voted for Obama..there are 5 non-negotiable issues that by voting for Obama has been compromised...Same-Sex Marriage, Abortion, Embryonic Stem Cell Research, Euthanasia and Human Cloning...Now by voting for Obama you are voting for all those things and what will you say to the Heavenly father when you meet Him? That you were ignorant of the issues? That you had your own agenda in mind? That you were voting for change not all those other fundamental issues? NO WAY...God will hold you responsible...May we now get on our knees and pray for forgiveness and mercy from our Holy and Pure God...

Country Fair 08
Getting Aubrey dressed for the night was a bit challenging b/c she kept wanting to take off her outfit but she came out looking ADORABLE! The face paint didn't last, Ian thought it made her look Indian, which is just fine except she was supposed to look like a butterfly. I intended to draw wings on her face but who was i kidding i can't draw and my daughter can't stay still for more then 5 seconds...
All ready to go....
This is Aubrey on the Bear ride, which are like the tea cups (which we also enjoyed) ...Her eye balls kept going back and forth, left to right, it was hilarious! Ian was going so fast i kept trying to slow him down b/c i was falling all over the place, but there was no stopping him!
